Victoria Useful Information
Named after the longest reigning British monarch in history, Victoria is a commercial area of Central London. It’s right in the middle, located in the City of Westminster. There are plenty of easy transport links here; Victoria Station is one of London’s main railways stations, serving nationwide destinations. It is also the location of a London Underground Station, where you can get the Victoria , Circle and District lines. On top of that, there are regular running buses and Victoria taxis operating 24/7.
If you’re visiting the area, it’s a prime location to see the sights of London. Everything is within an easy to reach; if something is a bit too far to walk, you can always book a taxi in SW1 to take you anywhere in the city. It’s just a short way to Buckingham Palace, and south of Green Park and St James’s Park. Whether it is a warm summer or a crisp winter’s day, these Royal parks are absolutely beautiful.
