    With Halloween creeping up on us this weekend, you’ll find that the cinemas packed full of horror movie lovers; many are opting for the gore fest Saw 3D, or the spine chilling Paranormal Activity 2. I don’t know about you, but I’m a scaredy cat: I hate horror films! It’s frightening enough walking down a dark street at night, without filling my head with stellar nightmare material.

  2. Halloween In London

    That time of year is approaching again... on the weekend leading up to 31st October, London will be celebrating Halloween. With trick or treating, kids competing and candy eating, things can get quite exciting! You’ll notice a lot more horror films showing at cinemas across the city and on your televisions, setting the atmosphere for the scariest night of the year.

  3. London Film Festival

    This fortnight, the capital is celebrating some of the best films from around the world at London Film Festival. It’s an exciting time not only for cinema lovers, but also for everyone in the film industry; actors, directors, producers, script writers, sound and lighting specialists, make up artists (to name a few key roles)... it’s baffling how much hard work goes into a production!

    Ahh, cheese and wine. They’re two of the finest things in life, right up there with summer holidays and a nice cup of tea. A large chunk of the British population share a love for this winning combination, stocking their fridges, parlours and cellars with a range of wine and cheese, from the Supermarket’s budget brand to vintage treasures.

    We think that the ‘Innocent’ brand is awesome. We first fell in love with their fruit smoothies, and have been easily won over by their tasty juices in fun packaging. They even convinced us to eat our greens with their veg pots! Promoting food and drink that is yummy and good for you, they’ve become a hit with everyone from toddlers to your gran.

    Is it that time of year again already? Really? It’s hard to believe that in just two months time, Christmas will be upon us. It may be a tad too early to start digging out the tinsel and warbling carols, but there’s no denying that London is now in winter’s grip. Temperatures are a-droppin’, and over-eager mothers are a-shoppin’!
